16" x 20" "We spent several hours at this site in August with a curious horse in a field nearby. A local resident stopped to chat. His wife had painted the same building. I do not know the story of this abandoned building or if it still exists after recent grass fires and development. Bearspaw is bursting with housing developments but this view with a working farm along the Bow River, remained so peaceful. The geology of the foothills of the Rockies is difficult to capture but the clouds were ideal that day." See Oil paintings |
