This began as a plein air in May 2015 at one of my favourite places for painting. We had really enjoyed taking the short ferry ride from Cowichan Bay to Genoa Bay earlier in the day. It's a quiet place to paint. There's always a chance to meet people and chat briefly. The two women on the sailboat had just arrived from Victoria. The reflections on the water never disappoint. The Genoa Bay gallery is nearby.
